Description:

Staff burnout has a high cost for organizations and companies. When a staff member leaves, there are costs associated with recruitment of replacements, training, equipment, and lost opportunities. In this presentation, Robin Strachan will identify causes of burnout and ways to overcome symptoms of burnout to achieve a higher level of engagement and inspiration in your work.

About Our Speaker:

   Robin Strachan, CNP is National Director of Planned Giving for the PKD Foundation headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri. The PKD Foundation funds research leading to treatments and an eventual cure for polycystic kidney disease, along with patient advocacy and patient and caregiver support programs. A 38-year veteran of fundraising, she has served in executive, campaign and consulting roles including Vice President for Institutional Advancement for Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Senior Director of Leadership Gifts for the PKD Foundation and Director of Development for Midwestern University. She also is the author of four novels.
